All Maxx Mount adjustable grip mounting system products were designed to be compatible with each other

Maxx Mount Automobile Installation

Accommodates devices up to: 2 3/4 in x 5 in (69 mm x 127 mm)

Installation Instructions:

  • Find a location on your vehicle’s dashboard or windshield that is out of your line of sight.
  • Clean the mounting surface with glass cleaner, then peel the protective film off of the adhesive pad.
  • Press down on the suction cup assembly, applying pressure to the mounting surface with the suction lever up.
  • Flip the suction lever downward to lock the suction cup in place and adjust the moveable joints as desired.
  • Squeeze the top two movable arms towards each other to allow for inserting a phone or device between the stationary bottom arms and the movable top arms. Insert the device between top and bottom arms. Release the moveable top arms to grip your device. Adjust the retractable side arm to complete securing the device.

Removal and/or Reinstallation Instructions:

  • For  removal and release of the mount, pull up on the lever to unlock suction base. Then pull up gently on the transparent release tab at the back of the suction cup to disengage the adhesive grip from the surface.
  • For reinstallation of the mount, ensure that the selected mounting surface and the adhesive suction pad have both been cleaned prior to remounting. The adhesive material on the bottom of the suction cup may lessen its ability to stick when it has been contaminated with dust or foreign particles. Any loss of adhesion due  to dirt or dust accumulation can be reversed by rinsing the adhesive pad under running water and air drying.

Cautions and Considerations:

  • Before each use, check to ensure the mount and phone or device are firmly in place before driving.
  • The suction cup’s adherence may lessen gradually due to continual road vibrations or over the passage of time.
  • Move mount periodically. Suction cup may leave a discolored ring on dash from UV ray exposure over time.
  • Not recommended for use on leather dashboards or other porous types of surfaces.
  • To avoid damage, do not attempt removal of the mount when the suction cup lever is in the locked position.
  • For your safety, do not adhere the mount in close proximity to any air bag deployment areas.
  • Not recommended for use on curved surfaces when the selected surface exceeds 2mm in curvature.
  • In hot climates discretion should be exercised. Although existing air temperatures may be within the tested performance range, an unventilated car interior in direct sunlight has the potential to exceed the adhesive pad’s specified operational limits.
  • Using the mount in temperatures in excess of 115ºF is not recommended.
